1. Scope and Acceptance
This Acceptable Use Policy forms part of the SourceCAN Terms of Service and applies to every visitor, buyer, manufacturer, partner and account holder. SourceCAN is operated by WWMalls Canada Inc.. By using SourceCAN you agree not to misuse the platform or assist another person to do so.
2. Lawful Use
Users must comply with applicable federal, provincial and territorial laws and regulations. You may not use SourceCAN to facilitate fraud, deceptive marketing, unlawful discrimination, sanctions evasion, trafficking in prohibited goods, infringement of intellectual property, or other unlawful activity.
3. Marketplace Integrity
Listings, company information, capabilities, certifications, pricing, origin claims, inventory, lead times and quotations must be accurate and not materially misleading. Users may not impersonate another person or business, manipulate reviews, create false demand, submit sham RFQs or interfere with another user’s transaction.
4. Security and Platform Abuse
No user may probe or bypass security, introduce malware, scrape or harvest data contrary to the Terms, overload the service, reverse engineer restricted components, misuse credentials, or access accounts or data without authorization.
5. Communications and CASL
Commercial electronic messages sent using SourceCAN tools must comply with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation and other applicable requirements. Users are responsible for having a lawful basis for messages they initiate and for respecting unsubscribe requests.
6. Enforcement
SourceCAN may investigate suspected violations, restrict features, remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve evidence, and cooperate with lawful requests. Enforcement decisions may consider severity, repetition, risk to users and legal obligations.
